This family is so fun and spirited. When the daughter immediately commented on my “beautiful” mom bun I knew we would be friends. ;) We placed our bets on the weather as Oahu has experienced quite a bit of rain lately…and we won. A little bit of sunshine peeked through the beautiful evening clouds as we walked to our location, which was a bit farther than I expected as the recent swells have moved the landmark tree down the shoreline. We played on said tree and piggybacked our way across the sand. Thanks to this ‘ohana for a memorable evening on the North Shore, and best of all, for making it feel like the beginning of a friendship—mom bun and all.

Maternity Flower Tub
Third child, third maternity session, and Mama says she’s still so awkward in front of the camera. We beg to differ! The initial plan was to include the whole family at this session but then she decided to show up solo and simply let it be an hour of me-time. Mama owned this session, knocked it out of the park. We can’t wait to meet baby.

It has been about six months since we photographed this beautiful crew, and we are so thankful for the catch-up. Our vintage VW minis with The Aloha Bus at Dillingham Ranch did not disappoint. The rain stayed away and the glowing sun remained near. Some families showed up in rich jewel tones and others in their best aloha wear. And these two families - they chose to go with a well-planned coordinated, holiday-inspired looks. Are we cozy yet?
